Research Events

The Research Team runs events throughout the year designed to highlight ongoing climate research and provide a platform for researchers to connect, debate, and explore their work.

Our most common event is the Research Presentation Night, which takes place once a term. Cambridge climate researchers are challenged to present their work to an audience within a specified time limit (three, five, or ten minutes), assisted by a single slide. After the presentations, the researchers are convened for a panel discussion on some topical or significant theme in climate research. Finally, we offer time and space for researchers to network and discuss their ideas.

Researchers interested in participating in or attending our RPNs, or other research events, should keep an eye on the CCS social media outlets — all details will be provided there.
